OUR BELIEFS

1.    We have no creeds but Christ.  The only test of fellowship is belief in Jesus Christ as Lord, not man-made interpretations.

2.    We believe in:  God the Father and His sovereign rule; Jesus as His Son, the Head of the Church and Resurrected Lord, who died to reconcile the world to God; and the Holy Spirit, who dwells in our hearts.

3.    The Lord's Supper is celebrated every Sunday and is open to all who profess Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

4.    Baptism by immersion is practiced but all forms of baptism are accepted as valid submission to Christ as Lord of life.  We believe in a "believer's baptism".  We dedicate our infants.

5.    Members are encouraged to participate regularly in Church School, Worship, group or private Bible study and regular periods of prayer and meditation as foundation for daily living.

6.    The church family is a support group for one another, especially in sorrow and crisis, through prayer and outward manifestation of concern and love.

7.    All members are expected to be responsible stewards of their time, talents, and money in support of His ministry through the local church.

8.    The congregation has final authority in all church affairs, meeting annually, but monthly meetings of the Cabinet and Official Board act on behalf of the congregation.
